Practice Manager
The Practice Manager, is responsible for the day to day smooth running of the Practice. If you have any ideas which you feel would improve and/ add to the standard of our services, they would be happy to hear from you. They are also the first point of contact if you have a complaint or a general enquiry with administrative or non medical aspects of your care.
Practice Staff
There is currently an administrative and Reception Staff of 12 who are all bound by the same rules of confidentilaity as the Clinicians. they will assist you in making appointments, undertaking repeat prescriptions, queries regarding medical reports, hospital referrals, test results etc. Please be courteous at all times with them and treat them in the manner you would wish to be treated yourself.
Practice Nursing Staff
The Practice employs 3 Nursing staff who carry out a range of Nursing duties including: taking blood, dressings and wound management, cervical smears, immunisations. You may have an appointment to see a Nurse without reference to a GP but the Nurse may need to consult a Doctor about your problem if your medical condition requires it. Appointments are made via the Reception Staff. In addition our Nursing staff run a number of Disease Management Clinics.
Practice Support Worker
The Practice employs the services of a Practice Support Worker who routinely will take blood when required. In addition she is responsible for gathering other health data including height, weight, blood pressure, smoking status.
